Who we are

Founder Dr. Luckner Mercredi began his career as a medical doctor specializing in cardiology and oncology, working in high-risk environments where every decision meant the difference between life and death. Through this work, he saw first-hand that lasting healing requires more than medicine—it requires stable systems, ethical leadership, and coordinated action beyond the hospital walls.

As the Founder of the organization, Dr. Luckner Mercredi brings together advanced clinical medicine, international law, and diplomacy. Holding a doctorate in international and ecclesiastical law, he has spent his career defending human dignity not only at the bedside, but also through legal frameworks and international governance that protect life at scale.

FONDHAITI is a nonprofit organization committed to advancing prosperity and long-term stability for the people of Haiti. We work in close partnership with local institutions across the country, while also collaborating with trusted international partners to strengthen our impact.

Our mission operates on two levels: in the short term, we provide essential support such as food assistance and educational programs for families in need. In the long term, we invest in sustainable rebuilding initiatives designed to restore infrastructure, empower local businesses, and promote economic growth and tourism throughout the region.

With team members and strategic collaborators across the Americas, Europe, Africa, and beyond, FONDHAITI maintains a stable and globally connected operational structure. We actively cooperate with international institutions and development partners to ensure transparency, accountability, and measurable results. Each regional office operates under dedicated local management, ensuring contextual leadership, cultural understanding, and operational effectiveness within its respective environment. While each region maintains administrative autonomy for day-to-day functions, all offices align strategically under the direction of Dr. Luckner Mercredi, Founder and President of FONDHAITI, ensuring unified vision, governance, and accountability across continents.
